EVP/CEO
The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) is the leading association for the industrial power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) distribution channel. The Executive Vice President (EVP) & CEO is responsible for the trade association and the PTDA Foundation. With a combined budget of approximately $2.0M and a staff of seven and one half, the EVP/CEO is responsible for communicating direction and value to the approximately 400 member firms including both power transmission/ motion control distribution firms and manufacturers that supply the PT/MC industry.
The EVP/CEO plays a key role in the development of the PTDA strategic plan and has responsibility for its implementation. This individual serves as a strong representative for the channel, communicating the value of the association and membership to audiences including current and potential members, the media, academia and other trade associations. The potential for member recruitment is significant for both distributors and manufacturers and the possibility of new member categories i.e. engineering firms and integrators exists. The PTDA culture is member focused and the collaboration between volunteers and staff is seen as a significant strength.
